Question:  How will grid upgrades be funded in constrained parts of the grid, generally, and specifically for distribution lines?
Answer:  Projects that require grid upgrades will all be subject to the Economic Test under the FIT Program (including new and Legacy Projects). Connection availability and costs will be assessed through this test to determine where grid upgrades need to occur.

Cost allocation between the generator and the grid operator is an issue that is currently under review at the Ontario Energy Board.
