Question:  what are the components of socialized costs
Answer:  The Economic Test as descibed in the draft FIT Program Rules will be designed to assess whether the over-all costs to connect the project can be considered reasonable. Decisions around cost allocation (socialized costs) is under review by the Ontario Energy Board currently. The Board is responsible for determining what portion of the costs required for grid upgrades to connect a project will be socialized.
