Question:  We have a question regarding the FIT application for Land Access documentation requirements. Please clarify what lead time is required for Land Access documentation expiration.

For example, If were to apply on Oct 1, 2009 for a FIT contract and the land access agreements were to expire on Dec, 31, 2009. Would that be a valid application?

What land access expiration period is considered valid for a contract application?
Answer:  The site access documentation must show that the applicant has access to the land for the full contract period (20 years except for water which is 40) -which begins on commercial operation.
