Question:  Will there be any made in Canada/sourced in Canada, or Canadian content of any sort required to qualify for the FIT program in keeping with the larger political initiative of creating jobs from renewable energy.
Answer:  The draft FIT rules allow for the inclusion of local content as an eligibility requirement. This is an area where the OPA will be receiving direction from the government which has not yet been finalized.
