| Question: | I have a neigbour who does not plan to set up a solar PV project on his lot, but would allow me to set up and "rent" a meter on his property for a RE project. I own an empty adjeacent lot which could easily contain a ground mounted solar PV system. Would I be allowed to set up the project on the empty lot, but send the output to my neighbors meter? I think the project would be registered to my neighbors property in this case. |
| Answer: |
This would be permitted.
You would have to work with your local distribution company to determine the exact metering configuration. The "address" for the project would be the actual location of the microFIT project. |
