Question:  Please confirm the 10kW limit applies to the smaller of the rated capacity of the inverter(s) and the sum of the PV panels. For example would a system with a 10,000 W inverter but with panels totalling 11,000 Wp qualify under micro-FIT?

This is what I believe was said during the 7/21 conf. call and in one Q&A response; however, another Q&A stated it was the sum of the PV panels.

Answer:  For microFIT, the 10kW size refers to the sum of all gross nameplate ratings of the generating equipment, and not the inverter. We have checked with the Electrical Safety Authority and during the inspection of the renewable energy generating facility, the inverter will be checked to ensure that the inverter is sized larger than the generator's equipment to avoid overheating and any safety hazards.
