OPA Process for Class 3 Allocated Lands

During the FIT Program launch period (from October 1 to November 30, 2009), a number of applications were submitted for solar PV projects wholly or partially located on Class 3 lands. The table below provides a summary of the results.

Not all of the projects that submitted an application during the program launch period received a contract in the first round of contract announcements in March and April 2009. The projects that did not get a contract offer will proceed to the economic connection test (ECT).

Class 3 land is only allocated once a contract has been executed. The table below only represents applications submitted and does not reflect what has been allocated. A table with Class 3 remaining available lands based on executed contracts will be posted as soon as possible. Projects for which there is insufficient Class 3 land will proceed to the economic connection test.
