Connection Availability Resources

The following tools provide information on the transmission system, the status of FIT project applications and the status of transmission expansion plans. You can use these tools to identify where your project is located in relation to the existing grid.

Find the local distribution company in your area using the first three digits of the postal code of your project address.
 
The Ontario transmission system map tool is designed to assist you in identifying electricity transmission facilities (circuits, transformer stations, junctions, etc.) near your proposed project for connection purposes.
 
Transmission availability tables have been developed to provide a general indication of the electricity system's ability to accommodate new renewable generation projects.
